Blood Libel Definition - Sarah Palin released a statement today responding to the attacks for her “target” list that featured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, and managed to throw herself from the frying pan to the fire with the use of the phrase “blood libel.”

The “blood libel” definition is specifically a (false) accusation that Jews secretly kill children in order to use their blood in ancient rituals.
